Crowdfunding is a platform for student groups, research projects, and athletics at Webster University to raise funds for their projects and initiatives.  It allows students and other campus community members to grow into leaders and encourages a community of philanthropy on campus.

Is my information secure?

Yes, All gifts are collected through CashNet. Will my gift be tax-deductible?

Webster University is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. Your gift qualifies for tax deduction in accordance with IRS regulations during the calendar year that you make your gift. Consult a tax professional for more information.

 

Is my gift eligible to be matched by my employer?

Many companies will match their current and retired employees’ contributions to nonprofit organizations. Additionally, this benefit is oftentimes extended to employee’s spouses. To take advantage of your company’s matching gift program and increase the impact of your donation, you can contact your HR representative to see how their specific program works. Once completed, please send the appropriate paperwork with your gift to the Office of Advancement.
