Thank You! We Reached Our Goal!
Why I Support Webster’s Commitment to DEI.
Since its inception Webster University has been dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion. Our long-standing mission aids not only those in our immediate community, but also those in the greater St. Louis community and beyond. Jovita Foster is a St. Louis community member who saw the positive impact of Webster’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, leading her to become a member of the Board of Trustees at the university. Jovita invests in Webster University to help advance diversity, equity and inclusion through its programs offered at Webster University and to the community. These programs include Webster Speaks, and the annual Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Conference being held on February 23 -25, 2021. |
Scholarships Offer Life-Changing Opportunities for Aariq Clark
Diversity, equity and inclusion have been celebrated throughout Webster University’s history. Starting as a women's college in 1915, Webster has consistently aided underserved populations with its mission of providing a high-quality and affordable education that transforms students for global citizenship and individual excellence.
Aariq Clark is among the 96% of undergraduate students at Webster who rely on the generosity of our donors and financial aid to complete their studies. Recently, Aariq, in a cohort of nine students of color from the Introduction to Africana Studies course, traveled to Webster’s campus in Ghana to experientially learn more about his culture and life abroad. Watch how this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity changed Aariq’s life.
