Support the Webster University Libraries

Webster University Libraries offer a variety of electronic resources to empower students and faculty to find the information they need to support their research and coursework. Substantial increases for resources diminish our purchasing power. Your gift will go directly to purchasing and subscribing to journals, books, streaming media and databases that will provide the latest information to our researchers.

About the Webster University Libraries

Webster University Libraries provide robust online library resources and services 24/7 to our users worldwide.

Philosophy and Mission

The mission of Webster University Libraries is to empower our diverse, global community of students, faculty, staff, and alumni to fulfill their research, learning, and information needs, now and in the future. The library’s mission is closely tied to the University’s mission.

The library subscribes to the principles set by the Association of College and Research Libraries to provide equitable resources and services to students and faculty regardless of their location. Our goal is to respond to the changing needs of faculty and students by providing resources and services that foster academic excellence and support our students in life-long learning through information literacy.

Benefits for Alumni

Alumni are welcome to visit the library to study, access the collections, or use a computer. You may check out books and scores from the library and use other materials in the library. Library staff may log an Alumni into online databases. (Due to contractual agreements, off-campus access to online databases is not available unless you are a member of the Research Fellows Program.) Librarians are available to offer assistance in answering reference questions and showing alumni how to use electronic resources.
